Rampton Hospital - Data Centre Electrical Installation

Overview

Camelot were instructed by 2bm to provide their services on a data centre installation at Rampton Hospital in Nottinghamshire. 2bm were appointed to complete the transformation of four empty ground floor office spaces; three to be transformed for the data centre and an adjacent room to house the switchgear.

Our Installation

Camelot were instructed to design, supply, install, and commission the electrical portion of the data centre installation at Rampton Hospital. As a listed building, there were a number of issues that had to be overcome which Camelot were able to problem solve alongside the client such as limited ceiling heights and no space for a raised floor.

The installation included:

• Main distribution

• Back up to DC and all UPS

• A&B supply to data rack

• Environmental monitoring system installation
